The resources found within the Internet are constantly changing and may contain unpredictable content. The library does not monitor or exert any control over the quality, currency, or accuracy of any Internet resource, with the exception of its homepage. Using the Internet in violation of any federal, state, or local law or regulation is strictly prohibited. Thus, the use of library Internet computers to access, store, or distribute pornographic or obscene materials as defined by law is prohibited. The Internet may contain material which parents or legal guardians may deem inappropriate for their children, and only their children or wards. It is the responsibility of the parents or guardians to supervise the Internet use of their children or wards. Users of the Internet provided by the library agree to abide by this policy and failure to do so will result in the denial of Internet privileges.
